"New Generation" was born from a mix. A coincident dream with a self-challenge.

Following my idea of writing about different themes to experiment different styles and to test my ability to describe worlds, this work comes really close to reality. Not only because it's more of a personal and sensible story, but also because of its theme: "youth". Yes, this narrative occurs during modern times, but it doesn't mean it can't talk about being young. And this concept is also a part of the story. What separates young people from adults? Why is there a whole world that people seem to ignore its unique beauty and everything that exists inside it? What we can do to change that? And even more, to change our preconceptions?

Synopsis: "Millennials. Generation Z. Lost generation. Cowards. Revolucionares. Different. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, the new generation has its own story to tell, about their vision of future. This is one of them. It's the story of the simple João, who has his whole life transformed by an unexpected stranger. And in his new journey in search of comprehension, redemption and self-improvement, he will witness in himself the power to not only save a life, but to also motivate other people to do the same".

Who am I?
My name is Lucas Souza Mendes, I'm 22 years old and also a writer and scriptwriter. Ex-student of the "Colégio Estadual José Leite Lopes/NAVE Project" and graduated in the Social Communication course with a degree in Journalism by the college "Pinheiro Guimarães".
​
Inside the technical area of NAVE, I finished the course of scriptwriting for new medias, with specialization in Analysis and Research, Screenwriting, Multimedia Interface and Project with Production. Gained knowledge of computing there, like learning how to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and various other softwares. I also participated of a project creation through the discipline "Integrated Office", with the mission of uniting the three courses of the High School I was from (Programming, Multimedia and Scriptwriting) to build an unique product to be sold to a jury floor through Pitching.

In college, I acquired the main title of "journalist" as a degree, but I could also obtain other types of experience, working in a radio and TV studios, creating a branch of content like magazines, radio programs, talk-shows, interviews, photography sessions, press office, advanced editing with Photoshop, creation of articles, releases, journals and work schedules, and also lectures with specialists in the area, with visitation to their workplaces.

All the disciplinary work that I've produced over the years can be found in the "Portfolio" area. I also have personal projects, which I put in the "Project" section.
